The Safer Schools Initiative has set a goal for the 2024-2025 school year to increase the number of Stop the Bleed trauma kits in each school by at least 30. These kits, developed in collaboration with our partners at TacMed Solutions, are specifically designed to contain all necessary medical equipment for emergencies, such as an active assailant situation. To maximize accessibility, the kits will be provided with mounting units, allowing them to be strategically placed throughout the school for broader coverage. The acquisition of these kits will be funded through private donations, corporate sponsorships, and grant funding.

By ensuring that each school has a sufficient number of trauma kits, we are taking a proactive approach to safeguarding students and staff in critical situations.
